The
Guerrilla Information Collective's goals are:
The
dissemination of information through any means
necessary.
Fighting
the rampant over-cutting of our forest land.
Dispelling
the intense greenwashed advertising that corporations
use to hide their unsustainable, and ecologically
devastating ways.
The
way we intend to do this are now, and always will
be, without the potential risk of human or animal
injury. No Guerrilla Information Collective
potential action will ever cause loss of human
or animal life.

Please
see the disclaimer....
"In light of the events on September 11, my
country has told me that I should not cooperate
with terrorists. I therefore am refusing to cooperate
with members of Congress who are some of the most
extreme terrorists in history." -Craig

In order to create a safe and productive environment
for activism and community,The Guerilla Information Collective
has a zero tolerance policy towards oppressive
behavior. This policy is not a means to punish
people for their behavior. Rather, it is a means by which
an individual can work with the group in order to overcome
the socialization that is the root cause of oppressive
behavior in the first place.
Oppressive behavior is herein defined (but not limited
to) as behavior that demeans, marginalizes, threatens
or rejects people because of some personal characteristic
that harms no one and can't be readily or justifiably
changed: their age, gender, mental health, race, culture,
sexual orientation, general appearance, income, status
as homeowner renter or squatter, experience in activism,
being a parent or a child, etc.
Anyone exhibiting oppressive behavior can be subject
to an intervention by a group of concerned and / or affected
people. No steps will be taken until there has been at
least one intervention and it has been determined that
the person who committed the act understands the consequences
of what they did. Also, if someone feels that they have
been unjustly singled out as an oppressor, they can call
interventions of their own.
In addition to this, it might be necessary to ask the
offender to temporarily leave the group until the issue
is sorted out and an intervention can be arranged.
