Ontario Coalition Against Poverty
O.C.A.P. is a Canadian organization that has waged a successful campaign of direct action against
the Ontario government's brutal series of social cuts that they've forced upon the populice.
"We mobilize around broad issues, like the fight to prevent the destruction of social
programs. We also take actions, such as picketing and office occupations, to win redress
for individuals and families faced with situations like eviction or the denial of UI and
Welfare by hard hearted bureaucracies."

The Industrial Workers of the World is a radical organization with a rich history.
Their pages are up-to-date, and chock full of inspirational news, literature, and
MANY great links. "These conditions can be changed and the interest of the working
class upheld only by an organization formed in such a way that all its members in
any one industry, or in all industries if necessary, cease work whenever a strike
or lockout is on in any department thereof, thus making an injury to one an injury
to all."

more links. Includes a link to Vancouver's own Guerilla Media, who, during the 1997 APEC leadership
conference, distributed 18,000 fake copies of a local newspaper that contained satire and analysis
criticizing APEC's effect on the working class.
