Mayworks is a large festival made up of many single events produced by people like you! Plan an event by yourself or together with your group and fill out the proposal below. Include your group's regular activities in Mayworks. Some event ideas include:
This is the deal: Mayworks can help you put the pieces together for your event. Mayworks receives 15% of your gross box office in order to cover our promotional expenses. You get a larger audience by reaching the Festival Guide's 50,000 readers, as well as radio and newspaper coverage, posters, and leaflets. In addition to any events you may organize, the 13th Annual Mayworks Festival already has many confirmed events: The Glace Bay Miners' Museum theatre production; International Solidarity May Day Dance; Working on the Railway exhibition; trade union banner and political poster exhibition; concerts; workshops; all-ages gig; political and cultural forums... and more.
