Kirsten Anderberg - Professional Archivist/Library Sciences

Kirsten Anderberg earned her Masters Degree in History (with an emphasis on Archiving) from CA State University at Northridge (CSUN) in December 2010 with a 3.86 GPA. She is a member of the Phi Alpha Theta Historical Honor Society and also a member/ex-secretary of the Golden Key Honor Society. Kirsten earned her B.A. Degree in Political Science from the University of Washington in Seattle and also has 2 years in good standing as a law student at Whittier College School of Law in Costa Mesa, CA. She was the vice-president of the Women's Law Association and recipient of many scholarships while in attendance and may return to law in the future.

To graduate with her Masters' Degree, Kirsten had to pass 2 three hour comprehensive exams: one on the topic of California History and the other on Archival Methods.

Kirsten did her internship at the Seabee Museum on the U.S. Navy Base at Port Hueneme, CA, under the guidance of Seabee Museum Archivist Gina Nichols. While at the Seabee Museum, Kirsten helped digitize their collection, did research and historical writing for displays, and assisted with inventory and general archival duties.
